Today I sat down and read RWBY: The Official Manga, Vol. 1 and it was incredible. This is another series that I have watched (I think I’ve seen the first three seasons?), so I was super excited to experience the story in a new format. This one is a little different though, because RWBY was a TV show first, created by Rooster Teeth. That’s right, the show came out before the book!
If you’re looking for some quick reads to add to your TBR, manga are always a great choice. They’re easy to read and have beautiful illustrations! Fans of horror and science fiction should check out The Promised Neverland by Kaiu Shirai. This story goes from zero to 100 very quickly, and will have you rushing to get your hands on the next volume.
Anyone who knows me well knows that I love anime, so when I found out there was manga available on NetGalley, I was pretty excited. I’ve been watching My Hero Academia for a while now, but had never read the manga and was super excited to check out the the story in a new format.
